Description
GS1B-ECS-MR03 enables data communication between EtherCAT networks and Modbus RTU networks, allowing field devices with RTU interfaces — sensors, stepper drives, smart measuring devices, instruments and PLCs — can be connected to an EtherCAT network with minimal effort.
The gateway provides 3 independent Modbus RTU (RS485) channels and supports the standard EtherCAT I/O protocol with configurable PDO parameters. No fieldbus expertise is needed: configure the gateway as described in the manual and the devices will communicate — no complex programming required.
